Prof. Charles Uwadia
Uwadia, Onuwa Charles is a Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Sciences, University of Lagos. His areas of specialization are Software Engineering, Computer Architecture, Communications and Networking Systems.
He holds a BSc (Computer Science), University of Ibadan, 1979; an MSc (Computer Science), University of Lagos, 1983; PhD (Computer Science), University of Lagos, 1990. He has served the University in various capacities including Acting Head of department 1996 – 1998; Acting Director Computer Centre 2003 – 2005; Director, Centre for Information Technology and Systems 2005 – 2013; Head of department 2013 -2016. He has over 100 academic publications in reputable local and international media.
He is a member of ACM, IEEE, and a Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society. He has served the IT community in Nigeria in various capacities – President, Nigeria Computer Society 2007 – 2011; President/Chairman-in-Council, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria June 2017 – June 2021. He is the Chair, Eko-Konnect Research and Education Initiative. He is the Chairman of Computer Networks, Infrastructure Management and Security (CoNIMS) research group.
Dr. Titilola Akinlade
Science. She worked as a Systems Engineer with DPMS Ltd (formerly IBM) from 1980 to 1984 before returning to the University of Lagos where she obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science. In her quest for formal business
education, she obtained an MBA from the University of Illinois, UrbanaChampagne, USA in 2021.
She is a member of Rising Tide Africa, a female Angel Investing Network, and considers herself a stakeholder in the I.T. Startup ecosystem in Nigeria. For leisure, she loves to read, sing, watch movies, and travel.
Mr. Kolapo Norman-Salako
Kolapo Norman-Salako is a core Professional in Information Technology (IT) and General Security Management.
His career spans over twenty five (25) years in IT as well as Bemil Nigeria Limited with Specializations in Military/Police/Security Management & Consulting, Homeland Security Advisory Board, Training and Development.
Kolapo's expertise also include Risk Advisory Consultancy, Event Security & Services and he also played active roles in Private Security Training and Supervision,

His hobbies include travelling, swimming and almost all sporting activities. He enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Mr. Tunde Ogunremi
An expert in the field of Information Technology, Systems & Security, Tunde serves currently as Executive Director, Business Development at Relluge Systems Limited with offices in Lagos and Abuja. His professional career commenced at Tower Aluminium Nigeria Plc as a Programmer / Systems Analyst in 1995 after a successful academic sojourn in Computer Science at The Polytechnic, Ibadan and The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. In 1999, he was at the Federal University of Technology, Akure graduating with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Tunde has been actively involved in software development since graduation especially in the manufacturing sector of the Nigerian economy. His quest for data appreciation facilitated his movement to the financial services industry until December, 2009. Over there, he participated in several software development activities and synergized with other companies in the implementation of various banking application systems. He was a member of the company’s Assets and Liabilities Group for an upward of nine (9) years.
In the course of his career, he attended several technical and management courses both locally and in some regions in Africa. Some of these include Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), Lagos Business School (LBS) and St. Paul’s University, Limuru & Nairobi, Republic of Kenya in alliance with Handong Global University, Pohang, Korea in 2011.
Tunde is a member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and the Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria (CPN). He is happily married with children.
Prof. Olakunle Ojoawo
Samson Olakunle Ojoawo completed his B.Tech degree programme in Civil Engineering at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso in 1998. He proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he had his M.Sc degree in Civil Engineering in 2003, and he also bagged his Ph.D in Civil Engineering from the same University of Ibadan in the year 2010. In 2014, he was a 12-month Post-Doctoral Fellow at Department of Civil Engineering of the prestigious NMAM Institute of Technology Nitte, of the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka State, India. He was appointed at LAUTECH Civil Engineering Department as a Graduate Assistant on 28th December, 1998 and through the grace of God and dint of hardwork, rose through the ranks to become a Professor of Civil Engineering effective from 1st October 2016. He became a Registered Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) in 2004, and also a Registered Consultant with COREN in 2013. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (FNICE), of the Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (FNIEE) and an Associate Member of American Society of Civil Engineers (AMASCE).
Prof. Ojoawo has served and still serving LAUTECH in several capacities. He was the Acting Head of Civil Engineering Department (2006-2008); a University Senate member (2006 – 2008, 2019 till date); and Departmental Postgraduate Programme Coordinator (2017). He was elected unopposed as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology for two terms (2017/2018 and 2018/2019 Sessions); he was appointed as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology LAUTECH between April 1 and July 31, 2019. He was an elected University Senate Representative (also unopposed) at the Appointments and Promotion Committee (A&PC) between 2021 and 2023 and the appointed Chairman, University’s Projects Monitoring and Implementation Committee (2021 till date). His present schedules of professional duties involve monitoring and supervision of University construction projects at the Ogbomoso main Campus and the Iseyin Campus being developed. As an accomplished Registered Civil Engineering Consultant with COREN, he has been involved in the engineering design, construction/supervision and monitoring of over fifty (50) public and private functional Structures within and outside Nigeria. As of last count, Professor Ojoawo has authored (and co-authored) over eighty (80) publications in form of articles in learned journals, conference proceedings, monographs, chapters in books and books. He has successfully supervised over 200 Bachelor’s degree and Postgraduate Diploma final year projects, and completed 8 Masters and Ph.D research theses supervision, while 5 others are on-going, all in Civil Engineering. His research activities centre on Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. He has studied the pollution levels and remediation measures to surface and groundwater resources, and wastewater systems extensively in Nigeria and abroad.
As touching his contributions to National growth, he was Team Leader for the U.S.A’s Global Funds NGO Committee for Joint Programme on Malaria Commodity Storage Facilities Assessment and led the Team to visit Abuja and some States of Nigeria (2010). He was an INEC LGA Collation Officer for 2011 General Election. He served as Supervisor of JAMB for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, (2009–2013). He has equally served as an External Examiner and a Promotion Assessor in many Universities and polytechnics. Internationally, he has presented academic papers at nearly 30 International Conferences, Seminars and Workshops in continents like Africa, Asia and America. Particularly, he was a Speaker at the International Conference on Hydrology and Ground-water Expo, San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A in 2012. In 2014, he was Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker at International Conference on Modeling, Optimization and Computing at N.I. University, Kumaracoil, Tamil Nadu State, India. Again in June 2023, he served as Facilitator at Advanced Reservoir Engineering Training Workshop for Senior Staffers of Nigerian National Petroleum Commission (NNPC) held at Kigali, Rwanda.
In the Professional Society, he served as the Pioneer General Secretary of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Ogbomoso Branch (2015-2016), Vice Chairman (2016-2017, 2018-2019), an Ex-Officio (2022-2023), and currently serving as the Chairman of NSE Ogbomoso Branch for 2023/2025 tenure. He was elected as a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers as approved at the July 2023 NSE Council meeting. He served as Chairman, World Environment Day 2023 Planning Committee for Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE). On Community Service, he is an ordained Deacon of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, a member of the Rotary Club International, and a Board Member of Salako Maven Foundation, just to mention a few. Professor Ojoawo has won many awards both academic and professional. He had his Post-Doctoral Fellowship through Indian’s Technical Education Quality Improvement, TEQIP-II Scholarship Award in 2014; Best Paper Award, International Journal of Civil Engineering, International Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology, IASET Global Research Forum, U.S.A, and won TETFUND-IBR 2015 Grant of Federal Government of Nigeria.
Engr. Professor Samson Olakunle Ojoawo’s hobbies include Public Oratory, traveling, and listening to music. He is happily married to his amiable wife Dr. Mrs. Olubunmi Titilayo Ojoawo, also an academic and an ordained Deaconess of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and they are blessed with three lovely children: James, Rosemary and Sharon.
Dr. Charles Onyeukwu
Dr. Onyeukwu Charles is a graduate of the Institute of Management Information Systems London. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer science as well as a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Technology Management.
He is an Accredited Management Trainer in Nigeria; a Microsoft Certified Professional; an IATA Certified People Manager and a Chartered Management professional (NIM).
He retired in 2009 from Aero Contractors Company of Nigeria Limited where he worked for 31 years. During this period, he held several important positions which included, Programmer, Systems Analyst, Database Administrator, Head of wages and salaries, Human Resource/Admin Manager and Head of Insurance.
He later joined ABC Human Development Consultants where he worked as the Managing Consultant for two years. He designed and facilitated all training programmes of ABC locally and abroad with his team of Consultants.
Charles has participated in the accreditation exercise of the Computer Science degree programmes of most Universities as well as Polytechnics in Nigeria organized by CPN.
Charles attended various Leadership and management training in Vancouver and Montreal all in Canada, Geneva Switzerland, and London United Kingdom. Among the local courses he also attended are Mastering Human Resource Management by Lagos Business School and Management Development Training (MANDEV) by Centre for Management Development (CMD) Lagos.
Currently he is the Group Chairman and Chief Executive of Eto Investment and Consulting Services Limited and Eto Oil and Gas services ltd. He seats on the board of Rephidim Microfinance Bank and Lenox heights limited. He is happily married with Children.
Dr. Sirajo Aliyu
Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State (FUD). He received his BSc Computer Science from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Post Graduate Diploma in Education from University of Calabar, MSc. Computer Science from Bayero University Kano and his PhD. Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Dr. Aliyu is the Director Information Communication Technology FUD, Once Head of Cyber security Department, Department of Computer Science Postgraduate Programme Coordinator, Faculty of Computing Postgraduate
Coordinator, Board Member National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Member National Council For Digital Innovation & Entrepreneurship. He is a Charted Information Technology Professional (Citp) registered by Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria, A Fellow of Nigeria Computer Society, A Member of Academia in Information Technology Professionals, A Professional Teacher registered by Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, A Member of IEEE, A Member of IEEE Computer Society, A Member of Global Internet Society, A Member of Nigeria Internet Society and A Member of Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communication.
He starts his work career as a Lecturer at College of Agriculture Lafia, Nasarawa State. Apart from his lecturing
job, he also set up (started) and Head there Information Technology Unit. After few years of his career at the college, Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu returned back to Katsina State in 2006, where he accepted a tenure appointment at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic as a Lecturer. He became Examination Officer, acted as the Head of Computer Department, Café Manager, ICT Manager, and ICT Coordinator of the Polytechnic. He also coordinated IT competition organized by Nigeria Computer Society as the State and Northwest zone coordinator,
attended IT Institute accreditation organized by Computer Registration Council of Nigeria.
He has been External Examiner for Postgraduate and Undergraduate students at different Universities. A reviewer to local and International Journals such as IEEE Journals and ELSEVIER Journal. He has attended and facilitated different Trainings, Workshops and Conferences Locally and Internationally. He have served Nigeria Computer Society at different capacity such as Katsina Chapter Chairman, North West Zone coordinator, North
West Zone representative to Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria, he was the Deputy President of Nigeria Computer Society for two terms, that facilitate the activation of several State Chapter and served as Chairman of different NCS committee such as the building of NCS National Secretariat and he is now the President of Nigeria Computer Society.
In addition to his teaching and research job he is happily married and blessed with children, sport man and also a practicing FARMER.

OLAKUNLE MICHAEL, OLADIPUPO Fncs is the current Chairman of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Lagos State Chapter, and a systematic, insightful and knowledgeable Information Technology professional. Olakunle gain admission to study Computer Science at Olabisi Onabanjo University in the year 1997 and graduated in 2002.
Olakunle started his career at Aiico Insurance Plc, Aiico Plaza, Afribank Street, Idowu-Taylor Street, Victoria Island in 1992, where he rose to become Head of Operation in charge of Operating activities of the then Electronic Data Processing Department (EDP). Olakunle left Aiico Insurance Plc, while in Aiico Insurance Plc, the following application was developed;

Olakunle resign from Aiico Insurance Plc to Join Foresight Microfinance Bank limited in July 2007 after working with Aiico Insurance for 10 years as Head ICT & Business Development. While at Foresight Microfinance Bank Limited, the following job description was saddled with alongside various development of application as follows;

MR. Ahmed TIJANI
is an administrator by experience, built through voluntary and employment capacity as admin and technical manager of Information Technology in public and corporate establishments. A member of Nigeria Computer Society and many other IT related organizations. An InfoTech Security enthusiast and advocate, skilled in human capital management, and always interested in working in a team. He was able to coordinate the NCSLAGOS Publications Committee as the chair, and pioneered as Editor of DigitaLagos, the publication of NCSLAGOS, the body he thereafter became its Secretary.
His enthusiasm in the wellness and sustainability of the environment got him interested in the field and badged an MSc in Environmental Management. Joined the Nigerian Environmental Society (NES), volunteered in several environmental sustainability activities, and has added his voice to many environmental advocacy campaigns, especially on waste management.
MR. ADEDOYIN TALABI
Mr. Adedoyin Talabi is an Information Technology Professional with core competencies in Information Technology (IT), Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Applications Management, e-learning, Project Management, Auditing of Information Systems and Training Facilitation.
Mr. Talabi has worked in manufacturing, banking and finance, learning and development and consulting sectors. He worked in four different banks and was Head of IT in two of them. Mr. Talabi has authored twenty-eight (28) computer studies textbooks used at all levels of education from Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary, Senior Secondary and Tertiary. MRS. Funmilola Omojola
Omojola Funmilola Victoria is a highly skilled professional with a strong educational background in Information Technology. She holds a Master's degree (in view) and postgraduate diplomas in Computer Science, Education, and Management, along with a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science.

She is a member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN). Furthermore, she has volunteered for programs like ReadySetWork, CodeLagos, and the DIGITEST ICT Summer Camp for Kids.
Passionate about promoting gender equality and opportunities in STEM, Omojola is the Founder/Coordinator of the Rise Up and Sparkle Initiative, which empowers women in the digital space and fosters the intellectual development of girls in STEM.
Currently, Omojola holds the position of MD/CEO at Fungolden Innovative Services and Fungolden Delight Foods. She is also a board member of Redeemers Love International School.

DR. ABIMBOLA SALAKO
Dr. Abimbola Salako holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science and Doctorate Degrees in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin.
Back home, he joined the University of Lagos in 1977 and served as the Director of the Computer Centre (now Centre for Information Technology and Systems) from May 1979 until he retired in December, 1994.
On the global and national levels, Dr. Salako was consultant to UNESCO, UNDP, UNICEF, WORLD BANK and several government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) including the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). He was also the principal consultant who designed the first National Identity Card system which was eventually implemented by government in 2003.
As one of the founding members and a subscriber to the Articles and Memorandum of Association of the Computer Association of Nigeria (COAN), now Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Dr. Salako served in various capacities in both COAN and NCS and was the pioneer editor of the Journal of Computer Science and Its Applications. He is a Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society and a former Provost of the College of Fellows of the Society in addition to other services at the Council of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) between 2005 and 2012.
At the private sector, Dr. Salako, a traditional chief, an ordained minister of the Gospel and recipient of several awards of merit and excellence in service and philanthropy also retired as the Chief Executive Officer of Infonet Ltd., a multi-purpose ICT company among whose focus is the promotion of e-learning. He is on the board of a number of companies and has several academic and professional publications to his name.
